Clarisa Grabowiecki, Argentina I make paintings about the world around me, choosing specific topics that relate to how I feel inside. I like to use humor and play with different meanings of the same words. Although we are talking and in constant communication with each other, we absolutely live our own individual lives with our own ways of thinking. * 17.00 "Get dressed" (Performance) |

Ishiwata, Japan - ISHIWATA LIFE HISTORY PAINTING - It's not important if we use the name of God or not. But where is a place for our spirit? ...My door is too open but on the other hand my wall is too thick. In any way, I live here now, painting to narrate my life history. *Live Painting Performance 25 April 15h-16h http://ishiwata-la-vida.blogspot.com/ |

Pamela Rasbach, Canada "Adults Suck, Then You Are One" This video dance work aims to engage feelings true to the young. As a choreographer, I wanted to take some time to be in the moment and work on physical expressions of my life as a young adult. I have been playing with ideas such as motives, energies, reactions, themes, and settings relating to youth, and using these factors to affect my movement qualities. The piece will be shown in video format to incorporate a technological connection to my intended audience. "(gesture)" This short dance film features the modesty of non-dancers when directed in movement. Given simple tasks and directions, I edited their movements to create something "beautiful"...however I think the most beautiful outcome of this experiment was the realisation that even the simplest un-trained movement could be as capturing as full-force dance physicality. (choreography/media art- edited dance composition) |
