Berlin collecting:

Seeds floating,
falling.
Reflection on urban green
and the relationship between
art and nature.
Ephemeral
response
to place.
"define works of art
as patterns of
Thought, rather than visual events."

Taste of Hunger

How often does one get an insider's perspective on the woes and the miseries of an immigrant in a far away land? How often does one get to feel the pain and the shock of denial and basic human rights? How often does one face the harsh reality of running away from a situation only to land in another that's worse? How often does one get to see the underbelly of a country that appears to be civil at first but has laws that totally disregards the value of basic human life? Princess Ayelotan is a woman in a man's world and a survivor. Who better than her to understand and pen the plight of a woman being disdained as the weaker sex, pushed at the receiving end of a spewing crisis...mehr

atom bomben serien

"We deliberately subjugate ourselves to the wonder of our own subjective reality"

Playful - serious - intellectually curious.

My work is about the construct of ideas themselves.
How using Our innate Human capabilities of self-reflection and reasoning, associated with our ability to acquire and apply intellect and intuition can allow our inspiration to give rise to actual concepts and insight. Working in any medium (predominantly painting/sculpture). I strive to manifest the 'Elements of fantasy'we all use, in order to make sense of ourselves and our place in the world to show how in these constructs of fantasy lies our true reality. The intention is to suspend reality revealing our individual and collective potential.

Superheros are our new gods.
Mi fuerza es mi delibidad.

Karoline Hausted, Denmark

Tall Children began in the winter of 2008 after a connecting bond was made between danish singer/composer Karoline Hausted and Los Angeles recording artist coL. Several tracks were sent back & forth during the spring, with Karoline flying to L.A. in the summer, to work in person.
Recording began on a cover of David Bowie's "After All", which was completed in Philadelphia while filming for the music video was Done in The Salt Flats of Utah.
Other projects include TC's debut album, which will be released in near future.

I use painting as a tool to interpret the internal hardware of the people around me. I execute this investigation by developing a confrontation between my perception of a person and how I feel they view themselves. Essentially, my paintings pay homage to the beauty within all human beings.

At the foundation of my work is the exploration of interactions between individual components, which are combined and overlapped to create a new entity.  Using common materials such as thread, duct tape, or screws and applying the concepts of repetition, movement, and composition I am able to delve further into the rudimentary system of grids and unearth the potential behind such a simple yet devastatingly intricate network.
