'Body Echo' is the first solo Berlin show of the Irish Artist Pearl Heneghan.
Using human hair as a material, Pearl focuses on the question 'When does body shed stop being us?'
She explores the traces of our bodies we leave behind that map out every strand of our lives and the accumulation of this growth - our body outside our body.
Her current work reflects on the physical relationship our body has with our surroundings and the physical imprint we leave on buildings and they leave on us. A series of human hair drawings growing from the walls infuses this contact.
The Displacement of atoms between our body and the buildings we touch pulsates a current that flows between us,buildings grow hair and we become what we make.
